Vines to Wine was founded by Remi Cohen, a wine industry professional with vineyard and winery management experience in Napa and Sonoma counties since 2001. Her primary areas of expertise include viticulture, sustainable vineyard management, winemaking, grower and winery relations, wine marketing and sales, brand management, and strategic business development.

Remi has extensive experience with several other prominent Napa Valley wineries including Merryvale Vineyards, Bouchaine Vineyards, and Saintsbury Winery, and many wines produced with her guidance have received numerous accolades and scores of 90-plus points. She has held various roles in wine production, sales, marketing, hospitality, public relations, and senior management, including Vice President of Operations for Merryvale Vineyards.  Her comprehensive educational background includes a Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, a Masters Degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California, and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University. 

Remi is known throughout the wine industry as an expert on sustainable farming and high quality winegrowing.  In addition to writing a column for Vineyard and Winery Management magazine, she has lectured at many industry venues and conventions including the American Society for Enology and Viticulture, the University of California at Davis, the University of California at Berkeley, the Society for Wine Educators, and the Commonwealth Club.  Remi has a talent for explaining the intricacies of grape growing and winemaking to audiences of all levels, and she has been seen on wine educational programs on the Discovery Channel, HGTV, and KRON4, and many news networks.  An active member of the wine industry professional community, Remi is a board member of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers, past president of the Napa Valley Vineyard Technical Group, is on the scientific review board for the American Vineyard Foundation, and is an active member of the Napa Valley Vintners. Remi is also a California licensed Pest Control Adviser and a Court of Master Sommelier Certified Sommelier.
